Preschool through second grade (pre-First Communion) age children are invited to hear proclaimed the Scripture of the week and reflect upon it in a manner suited for their age and level of understanding during our 8:30 a.m. Sunday Mass September through May. Each week, following the Opening Prayer of the Mass, these children are dismissed along with volunteer leaders for the Children’s Liturgy of the Word activities.  After the homily, the children return to their families to join their prayers with all of the assembled worshipers for the remainder of the Mass.
