A “Planned Gift” is any gift of any amount for any purpose–whether for operations, capital expansion, or endowment, given currently or deferred until some later time (often the death of the donor.) Planned gifts usually come from accumulated assets; the specific methods vary among vehicles like a will or trust, IRA or other retirement savings, stock or bonds, insurance policy, or other asset that might be titled to be transferred to St. Charles Borromeo Parish. Planned Giving is an option to donors of any age regardless of wealth. Not only can you ensure an orderly future for your family, but you can also thoughtfully assist St. Charles Borromeo Parish in building a faith-filled future for the next generation.
Memorials and Honorarium gifts are an expression of love and remembrance that may be made any time after a loved one has passed. One of the components of the overall Memorial Gifting program is the Perpetual Endowment where friends, family and parishioners may establish an Endowed Fund in the name of your loved one. In the Liturgical Year, we celebrate All Souls Day and All Saints Day during the month of November. We consider all gifts a true blessing for our parish and academy.
