The Eucharist (Holy Communion) literally means thanksgiving. Jesus himself instituted this Sacrament at the Last Supper. Catholics believe that Christ is truly present in the Blessed Sacrament and deserves our worship and adoration. Children in 2nd grade preparing to receive their First Holy Communion and First Reconciliation must complete sacramental preparation through the Parish Public School of Religion or be enrolled at Borromeo Academy.

Extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion visit homebound and hospitalized parishioners to bring them prayer, Holy Communion, and companionship. Families may arrange a visit by contacting the Parish Office at (816) 436-0880.
