Welcome to St. Charles Borromeo School! 

At St. Charles, education begins at age 2 1/2 with our preschool and continues through 8th grade.  Our mission is to provide “…academic excellence in a Catholic Christian atmosphere.”  Our children leave St. Charles prepared for high school.  They have good study habits and a strong foundation in their faith.

Our Strengths:
• Religion is not just an isolated subject, but is integrated throughout all we do.  Daily prayer and weekly mass, in addition to religion classes, help students grow in their faith.
• Education begins at age 2 1/2 in our preschool.  They learn the skills needed to be successful learners.  It is developmental, allowing for 2 or even 3 years of preschool before kindergarten.
• Our staff longevity is big plus.  Parents and students know our staff and the staff know the students and parents.  Our dedicated staff includes a school nurse, school counselor, and special needs teacher.
• Opportunities for service are numerous at St. Charles.  Our children are known for their service in our community.  Through the Catholic Social Teachings they learn what their responsibility is to help those in need.
• Our basic curriculum includes Religion, Catholic Social Teachings, Lifeskills, Math, Advanced Math, Algebra, Science, Social Studies, Constitution, Language, Spelling, Phonics, Handwriting, Literature, Reading, Accelerated Reading, Spanish, Study Skills, Essay Writing, Public Speaking, Physical Education, Music, Art, Computer, and Library.  All of these are enhanced by many special programs.
• Our Families program meets monthly to share an activity together.  A “family” is one student from each grade K-8, unrelated, that form a family unit.  This program helps to break down barriers between grade levels and gives everyone a place to fit and belong.
• Safe and Secure Environment is enhanced by staff photo identification.  Visitors must sign in the office and obtain a pass.  They may not enter any area with children unless they have been let through the security door by our office personnel.
