About Us
Our religious education (faith formation) curriculum is based on the principle that religion is not a specialized subject, but an integral part of the entire school program just as Together in Faith is an integrated experience of all Catholics’ life-long learning. Our high academic standards include a strong basis in the traditional subject areas like math, reading, science, and writing, etc., as well as art, music, physical education, Spanish, technology, public speaking, and a special needs teacher for students experiencing difficulty in math and reading. In addition, we are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI).
Academic Excellence
St. Charles Borromeo School strives to prepare students for the future. Our curriculum is designed to help students make a smooth transition into high school. Starting in sixth grade, advance classes are offered, including math and literature; as a result, St. Charles students consistently score above average for the nation on standardized testing.
Beyond Academics
Along with academic teaching, students also learn the value of human dignity and the concepts of peace and justice through numerous service projects and Catholic social teaching, preparing them to contribute to our growing global society. Students also learn the life skills that will help them be positive and productive members of our community. In addition to our learning during the school day, we offer numerous extra curricular activities.
