Boy Scouts is an organization devoted to preparing boys to become responsible adults through developing character, citizenship, self-confidence, and responsibility, and motivating the youth to be mentally and physically fit. Tiger Scouts, for boys age 6 (or first grade), introduces the boys and their parents to the Scouting program. Cub Scouts, for boys ages 6-11, emphasizes activities in and around the boys’ home. Boys Scouts, ages 11-18, participate in a wide range of activities and experiences. Troop 180 strives to be boy-led, and mentored by trained adults. 

Girl Scouts is a values-based organization that provides exciting opportunities for girls. Through programs, activities, and events, Girl Scouts encourages girls to apply and strengthen values learned at home, school, and through religious instruction.
